IXIOD is James Kirkham, an award-winning Liverpool-based freelance designer and filmmaker.
With an academic background in architecture, and many years of experience as a graphic designer and videographer, I have a wide interest in all things creative and a keen eye for detail.
My work covers everything from festival branding, album artwork, typography and logo design to music videos, promos, photography and cinematography.
Notable recent projects include logo and ident design for Manchester-based film company Future Artists Entertainment, branding for multiple editions of Liverpool festivals Positive Vibration and Threshold, and music videos for Natalie McCool and The Charlatans.
In my spare time I have a passionate interest in sport – particularly the NFL (New England Patriots), football (Newcastle United), and motorsport (F1 & Le Mans) – cult movies and sci-fi, video and board games, 20th century art and engineering, road trips and city breaks (especially New York).
